How we keep the network honest

Fraud prevention, payout holds, and data handling — explained plainly.

Fraud prevention

ScrollEarn and its partner networks use a mix of automated and manual checks to keep the ledger accurate:

  • Device and session fingerprinting to catch duplicate accounts.
  • IP-range validation on partner postbacks — we only accept completion events from a network's published IP ranges, signed and verified.
  • Velocity checks that flag unusual completion patterns (e.g. far more surveys passed than is realistic for a human in that time window).
  • Idempotent crediting: every ledger entry is keyed to a unique source + transaction ID, so a replayed or duplicated postback cannot double-pay.

Accounts found to be using bots, VPN farms, click injection, or multiple identities to claim rewards are suspended and any pending balance tied to the fraudulent activity is withheld, per our Acceptable Use / Anti-Fraud Policy.

Payout holds

Newly earned balances may be held for a short period before they're eligible for payout. This isn't a way to delay money you've earned — it exists because partner networks can reverse a completion (for example, a survey later disqualified for quality reasons) for a limited window after it's reported. Holding funds briefly means ScrollEarn doesn't pay out money it may have to claw back days later. Hold lengths vary by earning category and are shown in your account before you cash out.

Data handling

We collect the account information needed to run the service (email, payout details, activity history) and the technical data needed for fraud prevention (device/session identifiers, IP address at time of completion). We do not sell your personal information. Full detail — including your rights under CCPA/CPRA, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and GDPR where applicable — is in our Privacy Policy. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it via Contact.

Reporting a problem

If you believe your account was wrongly flagged, or you've spotted a partner offer behaving suspiciously, email support@scrollearn.com with details. We review every dispute manually.
