Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. ScrollEarn uses them, along with similar technologies like localStorage, as follows.

Strictly necessary

Login sessions, CSRF protection on forms, and load balancing. These can't be turned off without breaking core functionality.

Fraud prevention

Device/session identifiers used to detect duplicate accounts and automated abuse, described further in Trust & Safety.

Analytics

Aggregate usage data to understand which pages and offers perform, so we can improve the product.

Your choices

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key se_consent_v1 and exposed to page scripts as window.seConsent. You can also clear cookies/localStorage at any time through your browser settings. Declining does not currently block any cookie outright — see the banner's "Accept" / "Decline" options and our Privacy Policy for how your choice is honored as our tooling matures.
