Notice of Financial Incentive
Effective September 8, 2026
California law requires businesses that offer a financial incentive, price, or service difference in exchange for personal information to give consumers a clear notice of the material terms before they participate. ScrollEarn's entire product is a financial incentive program — we pay you for the personal information generated when you complete surveys, offers, and videos — so this notice applies to every ScrollEarn member, not only California residents.
1. The incentive being offered
When you complete a survey, offer, or video from one of our Partner Networks (CPX Research, Torox, AdGate, Lootably, AyeT, TheoremReach), you receive USD credits in your ScrollEarn balance. Those credits can be cashed out once your balance reaches at least $10, via PayPal or a Tremendous gift card, after a 48-hour hold on your first payout and a routine fraud review.
2. What personal information is exchanged
- Your Google account profile (email, name, avatar), used to create and secure your account.
- Your answers and responses within surveys, offers, and video activities, which are shared with the relevant Partner Network and, in turn, their research or advertiser clients.
- Device, IP, and fingerprint-hash signals, used to verify eligibility and prevent fraud.
Full detail on categories collected and shared is in our Privacy Policy.
3. How the value of the incentive is calculated
ScrollEarn uses a revenue-share method to value the data you provide: your reward is calculated as a direct, published percentage of what the relevant Partner Network pays ScrollEarn for your completed activity.
Standard members receive 62% of the revenue a completed survey, offer, or video generates; ScrollEarn retains 38% to cover partner integration, fraud prevention, payout processing, and operating costs. ScrollEarn Plus subscribers ($6.99/month) receive a 75% share of the same revenue and get instant cash-out with no minimum-balance wait, in exchange for the subscription fee.
Good-faith estimate of value: Because the reward is calculated directly from what each Partner Network pays for a given completed activity, ScrollEarn's good-faith estimate of the value of your personal information is the amount actually paid to ScrollEarn by the Partner Network for that activity, of which you receive 62% (or 75% as a Plus subscriber). This is a direct, transaction-level valuation rather than an estimate applied after the fact — the price is set before you decide whether to participate, since you can see the expected reward for each survey or offer before starting it.
4. How to opt in
You opt in to this financial incentive program by signing in with Google and creating a ScrollEarn account, and again each time you choose to start a specific survey, offer, or video. No activity is started without your action.
5. How to withdraw
You may withdraw from the program at any time by deleting your ScrollEarn account. Email mail@scrollearn.com from your account email with the subject line "Delete My Account." If your balance is $10 or more at the time of your request, we will process that payout via PayPal or Tremendous gift card before closing the account. Balances under $10 are forfeited upon deletion, consistent with our Terms of Service, because credits are a promotional reward rather than stored value. Withdrawing does not affect activity or rewards already completed.
6. Non-discrimination
We will not deny you access to the free tier of the Service, or otherwise discriminate against you, for declining to participate in a specific survey or offer, or for exercising any privacy right described in our Privacy Policy. Because earning credits is inherently tied to completing surveys and offers, choosing not to participate simply means you do not earn — that is the nature of the Service rather than a penalty.
7. Estimated value in practical terms
To make this concrete: if a Partner Network pays ScrollEarn $1.00 for a completed survey, a standard member receives $0.62 in credits, and a ScrollEarn Plus subscriber receives $0.75. These figures move with each individual activity — some surveys and offers pay more than others depending on their length, subject matter, and the research client's budget — but the 62%/75% split itself is fixed and published, so you always know your share of whatever the activity is worth before you decide to start it. This is different from many rewards or "get paid to" programs, which set point values or rewards internally without disclosing what the underlying data was sold for; ScrollEarn's incentive is designed to be transparent by comparison.
8. Reasonably related to value
Because the reward is calculated as a direct percentage of what we are paid for your specific activity, the incentive is inherently reasonably related to the value of the personal information provided — it is not a flat bonus disconnected from what that information is worth to us. If our cost structure or the amounts Partner Networks pay change materially, we may adjust the published percentages; any such change will be posted here with an updated effective date and will apply prospectively to activity completed after the change.
